Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device, remember your preferences, keep your session secure, and help us understand how the Platform is used. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, pixels, and software development kit (SDK) identifiers in our mobile application; references to "cookies" in this Policy include these technologies.

Why Cookies Matter on an E-Invoicing Platform
Because the Platform is used to prepare, validate, digitally sign, and transmit electronic invoices to the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) Merchant Buyer Solution (MBS) platform, session integrity and security are critical. Certain cookies are strictly necessary to authenticate you, protect your account against session hijacking and cross-site request forgery, and maintain the integrity of e-invoicing workflows. These strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off through our consent banner, because the Platform cannot operate securely without them.

Your Consent and Choices
- On your first visit, our consent banner allows you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or configure your preferences by category;
- Functional, performance, and marketing cookies are placed only with your consent, in line with the NDPA;
- You may change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie preferences centre in the website footer;
- Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
05
Managing Cookies in Your Browser
Most browsers also allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings (commonly found under "Privacy" or "Security"). Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent core functions of the Platform from working, including secure sign-in and the submission of e-invoices for validation. Guidance is available in the help pages of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox.
Some cookies may be set by carefully selected third parties who provide services to us, such as analytics or content delivery providers. These parties act under contracts that restrict their use of the data. We do not permit third-party advertising cookies inside the signed-in areas of the Platform where invoice and taxpayer data is handled.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we adopt new technologies or when the law changes. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted through the consent banner or by notice on the Platform.
